Founded in 2006 as a volunteer collective working to produce and promote Japanese tabletop games and to help more Japanese game designers showcase their work abroad, Japon Brand has grown into a leader in the Japanese gaming industry. It joined CMON as its independent agent in 2023, where it continues to bring together game designers and publishers to provide full-range support for the overseas licensing and publishing process.

Japon Brand’s catalogue contains some of the best Japanese games released each year, as well as many titles that it has brought to Spiel ESSEN up until now. Some of our most recognizable titles include:
